Don’t just take our word for it: Below we offer additional publications, including a report from the University of North Georgia that reviews DeKalb’s ethical culture.
We also asked DeKalb County resident and internationally renowned ethics expert Dr. Paul Root Wolpe to review the legislation. His verdict:
“The bottom line is that this bill is clearly meant to weaken and dilute the excellent policy passed in 2015, without any convincing reasons to weaken the bill. DeKalb is slipping back to a former posture that got it in trouble in the first place.”
DeKalb Citizens Advocacy Council is a group of community members from all parts of DeKalb County, Georgia. Our goal is to educate the citizens of DeKalb County about county governance issues and to advocate for informed citizen engagement.
